ExternalDescriptionDescription:DuPont Mobility and Materials is looking for an Account Manager.

The Account Manager actively works to accelerate growth in sales and profitability at major key industrial accounts.

The successful candidate will have a high level of industry and materials expertise as well as excellent sales and communication skills.

This role also has responsibility as a distribution Geographic Territory Manager (GTM).

A GTM manages the distributor in a specific territory (s).Core Responsibilities:Manages an existing network of customers and strategic partners, but also responsible for growing new business and identifying opportunities in future growth applications andAchieves and exceeds sales goals and objectives in assigned territory as derived by business strategies and marketing plans.Demonstrates sales excellence managing pricing, sales policies, customer payment terms, supply, quality, and forecastingDevelops and shares account plans with appropriate stakeholders.Develops relationships and collaborates internally with application development, marketing, product management, customer service and R&D teams to promote increased revenue and customer valueRecognizes, anticipates, and solves customer problems resulting in business opportunities and revenue growth.Develops and maintains broad competitive intelligence for the territory and market segments assignedCoordinates multi-disciplinary team to service our customer with a high service standardUnderstands customer needs and provide feedback to organization on product performance, program effectiveness and competitive activity.Effectively utilize business and sales tools (i.e.

Salesforce.com, MS Office, Databases)As a GTM manages all activities of the distributor within a set district (s) including setting growth guidelines, price quotes, coordinating with other Dupont sellers regarding applications, helping distributor’s sellers overcome obstacles, traveling with distributor’s sellers to key accounts, periodically attending distributor district meetings, develops relationships with distributor district manager and sellers.ExternalQualificationRequired Qualifications:A minimum of 5 industry experienceA minimum of 5 years of sales and business development responsibilityExperience in building/maintaining strong relationships key industry/market influencersResults oriented and strongly customer-focusedExperience in driving development projects and accomplishing defined objectives/goalsUnderstand customer needs to develop solutions to grow businessStrong commercial negotiation skillsTechnical knowledge of properties and application of high-performance engineering polymersCoordinating work of global and regional teamsAbility to work virtual and travel up to 50% when neededProven track record in getting results by exercising sales excellence & best practicesSelf-starter, independent achiever and highly motivatedWork in and adapt to a rapidly changing business environmentAbility to interact at multiple levels in customer organizations, including senior managementEducation:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Economics; MBA encouragedDuPont is an equal opportunity employer.
