Join our awesome Therapy team at Special Tree!We are looking for a full-time experienced Neuropsychologist. Be a part of a company that embraces Trust, Resilience, Empathy and Excellence as their core values.QualificationsThe Neuropsychologist provides neuropsychological assessment and scoring, meets with client and family to go over results, and all related services of providing a neuropsychological report and neuropsychological services through all Special Tree systems and locations (Romulus, Troy and Saginaw). The Neuropsychologist serves as a role model and a mentor for the Limited Licensed Psychologists, providing occasional supervision, and works with speech and language pathologists and occupational therapists in the area of cognitive rehabilitation on the finding of the neuropsychological reports and RBANS. Also will provide psychotherapy services and assist with crises as needed. Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology. At least 2 years’ experience in rehabilitation setting preferred. Experience with neuropsychological testing and report writing. Strong interest in working with clients and their families. Flexible to meet all needs of the Neuro Care Center and other Special Tree locations. Ability to determine and use appropriate and effective techniques in interacting with clients including awareness of and compliance with behavior plans as appropriate. In-depth knowledge of health care industry best practices. Great problem-solving and critical thinking skills; strong communication and organization skills.Why should you apply?
