This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Label Integration Engineer        

Job Responsibilities                                              

Your specific duties as a Label Integration Engineer will include:    

• Compensation (Range):  $40-$43/ hour
• Lead sign-off of the Program Specific Label Matrix (PSLM) for assigned programs.
• Ensure all regulatory and safety warning labels are released for assigned programs.
• Ensure all calendar year specific labels are released each year for assigned programs.
• Complete sign off in the Engineering Design Environment of label related requirements for assigned programs.
• Provide evidence of compliance for Compliance Demonstration Planning and Reporting (CDP&R) for labels.
• Support set up of VIN specific variable data labels in the Variable Data Label System (VDLS).
• Support North America led program label audits on large scale programs during launch (minimal travel may be required).
• Participate in the global label meeting forums to maintain current knowledge of the ever-changing global regulatory landscape and its impact on labels.
• Develop cross-functional working relationships with Functional Engineering and the Automotive Safety Office to develop and release labels for new product features (i.e. Bronco removable doors, F-150 Pro-Power on Board).
• Support the instruction of the Labels 101 curriculum for large scale programs.
• Develop expertise in vehicle sign-off and label re-prints using VDLS.

Job Requirements

As a Label Integration Engineer you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated understanding of program milestones and vehicle development process.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in “working together” and developing cross functional partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability in efficiently and effectively managing multiple tasks/assignments within given timing, including launch constraints.
• Strong problem-solving skills coupled with strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Excellent organization skills and ability to remain resilient in times of ambiguity and change
• Prior experience in Design and Release, Program Management, Automotive Safety Office, or Homologation role.
• Understanding of homologation process and regulatory requirements, especially in international markets.
• Prior experience working with labels and the GGLM / PSLM.
• Education Required: B.S. Engineering
