This is a Full-time position in Kalamazoo, MI posted May 15, 2021.

Production Operations Opportunity

ManpowerGroup has several job opportunities for our client in Kalamazoo, MI. These are contract opportunities expected to last at least a year. Openings on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. Training on days for one week. The positions will work 12 days on and 2 days off for first 2 months, then will go to a 7 days on, 2 days off schedule. Great pay!!!

Summary of what you’d be doing:

  • Openings in tank sanitizing area. Will be sanitizing 80 to 400 gallon tanks that are used to make vaccine. Lots of documentation, hands on role.
  • Work is performed in strict compliance with manufacturing standards (SOPs) and all regulatory requirements (i.e., GMPs).
  • This job includes the following functions: processing of hazardous and non-hazardous drug products, basic computer skills and physical material handling.
  • Technicians will be working in a team environment and must demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills.

    General Expectations

  • Work in a safe manner and report all potential safety issues to leadership in a timely manner.
  • Perform all tasks in strict compliance with operating procedures, best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Dependable – Follows unit / area / plant requirements and guidelines.
  • Willing to assist other production units in order to meet unit and site goals.
  • Accountable for activities involved in the production of pharmaceutical drug products.
  • Accountable for accurately completing GMP documentation

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have at least 6 months of regulated manufacturing experience (pharmaceutical, food production, FDA, USDA etc)
  • Education: High school diploma / general education degree (GED) and 6 months related experience or military experience or an associate degree.
  • Must pass criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Mathematical Skill: Contractor will possess basic mathematical skills in order to perform calculations in batch records.
  • Reasoning Ability: Contractor should possess basic reasoning ability.
