Job Description Tier 2 Automotive Supplier looking to hire for BOTH 1st & 2nd shift Assemblers IMMEDIATELY! 1st Shift: 7am 3:30pm 2nd Shift : 3:30pm-12am Work Schedule : Monday-Friday MUST be flexible to work Saturday and Sunday when needed 1st Shift Pay: $12/hr. 2nd Shift Pay: $12.50/hr. Attendance Bonus: $25-$75 weekly No Drug Screen or Background check required Job Summary for Assembly Line Work This position is in charge of performing tasks to assist in the production of parts and assemblies for Automotive Seating. Tasks assigned could range from building and sorting parts, using small power tools and lifting/stacking materials, to keep production flowing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Assembly Line Worker Assemble items, package parts, label boxes, spraying glue, operating staple guns, press operator, sorting, and move material as instructed by a team leader or supervisor Lift material, final product or items packed for shipment Produce parts on assigned jobs at an established rate maintaining quality standards Train and work in various areas in response with production needs Responsible for maintaining work environment housekeeping keeping it clean, safe and organized Wear ear plugs and safety glasses at all times on manufacturing floor Regular Attendance required Follow all company rules and policies Participate in team building, continuous improvement, corrective action, and safety programs when required All other duties as assigned Minimum Education, Skills and Experience for Assembly Line Worker High school graduate GED or equivalent education and/or experience Knowledge of basic mathematics and measurable techniques Physical Abilities Required for Assembly Line Worker Ability to lift 40 lbs. Communication abilities Visual and learning capabilities Mobility in plant and office environment Able to stand and/or walk at least 8 hours per day Work Environment for Assembly Line Worker Plant manufacturing environment Well lighted and ventilated Hearing conservation program in place Other backgrounds associated: general labor, production operator, assembler Job Requirements:Do a variety of assembly operations including component assembly, electrical assembly, and final assemblyOperating automated samples board assembly lineVerify the parts required prior to assemblyUnderstanding of the assembly processesRead blueprints and assembly instructionsRead/comprehend assembly parts lists, assembly drawings, and any related reference documentationWork in a team environment on an assembly lineOperate assigned production station on the assembly line using production equipmentPerform a variety of assembly operationsVary depending on product assembly instructionsPerform repetitive line assembly operations to mass-produce quality sandwichesAdjust workpieces and hydraulic parts to facilitate wiring and assemblyMaintain high quality production standards while operating on a fast paced assembly linePerform instrument assembly by following released proceduresTumbling, packaging, and assembly servicesWork to and update status on assembly production scheduleEnsure that assembly of parts is performed according to the work orderLoad and unload materials off palletsOperate machine to perform force fitting or fastening on assembly linePerform force fitting or fastening on assembly line
